Also competing for the Buford Boys Varsity team were: Jesus Miranda (19:17), Turtle Kazienko (19:37), Alex Zachman (19:39), Garrett Posey (19:41), and Joseph Davis (19:51). Sophomores Ben Webb (19:03), Ben Beardsley (19:07), and Noah Matthes (19:15) ran a strong race together and finished out the score. Coming across first for the wolves was sophomore Colby Polhemus (18:06) with junior Carter Hales (18:18) close behind. ![]() Junior Hayden Bailey (24:40) and sophomore Cameron Perry (25:37) also represented the Buford Varsity Girls in this very competitive varsity race.īoys Varsity: The boys team took a 12th place finish among a very competitive field of 21 teams. Freshman Addison Steinbrecher (23:23), freshman Cayden Boyer (23:26), freshman Audrey Adams (23:49), and junior Madeline Matos (24:23) rounded out the score. The charge was led by sophomore Diana Plata (22:48). Girls Varsity: Girls Varsity placed 11 out of 17 teams and saw stand out performances from some of our underclassmen. With over 1400 county athletes participating, our Buford XC runners stepped up to the challenge and ran against some of the fastest runners in this state. With powerhouse programs like Mill Creek, Brookwood, North Gwinnett, and Parkview, the front-runners are both fast and fun to watch.
